La mia "culona" (Yamaha Wildstar XV1600) - "Big Ass", my 2003 Yamaha Road Star

Una beve panoramica sulla mia moto e sui lavori finora fatti.
La trasformazione non è nulla di radicale, la moto principalmente m'è sempre piaciuta così com'era. Il risultato finale sarà una moto che in poco tempo (in circa 30 minuti) potrà passare da cruiser a turistica, con baule centrale e cupolone.
Manca davvero poco :)

A proposito di turistiche, qualche mia considerazione sulle cruiser come compagne di viaggio.

A not too radical customization, I really like my bike the way it is. That's why I decided for little improvements. The final result will be a clean looking cruiser, with the option to turn it into a full tourer in half an hour (mounting fairing, trunk and hardbags).
It's almost done! :)

Carburazione (Carburetor settings)
Getto del massimo (Main jet): Mikuni 170

Spillo (Needle): quarta tacca partendo dall'alto, spaziatore e 1 rondella (C clip on 4th groove, spacer and 1 washer).
Dicono che sia buona anche la terza tacca con spaziatore + 2 rondelle, ma mi mancava una rondella per provare (Another common setting is C clip on 3rd groove, spacer and 2 washers. Mixture will be slightly leaner).

PMS miscela al minimo: 2 giri e 3/4, partendo dalla vite leggermente stretta. (2 and 3/4 turns from all closed)

Vite della durata di accelerazione: tutta avvitata, con il controdado spostato dietro al fermo.
